1. Electric Drive

Electric-driven scissor lifts typically use batteries or external power supplies as their power source. Battery-powered scissor lifts offer the advantages of flexible mobility and independence from external power, making them especially suitable for indoor or outdoor workplaces without fixed power supplies. In contrast, externally powered scissor lifts are better suited for scenarios requiring long-term, continuous operation or where a stable power supply is readily available.

2. Hydraulic Drive

The hydraulic drive is one of the most common mechanisms for scissor lifts. It operates by driving hydraulic cylinders with high-pressure oil generated by a hydraulic pump, enabling the scissor mechanism to lift and lower. Hydraulic drives are known for their simple structure, smooth operation, high load capacity, and precise control over lifting and lowering movements.

3. DC Motor Drive

Some scissor lifts use DC motors as their power source. DC motors feature high starting torque, a wide speed regulation range, and stable operation, making them suitable for various working conditions. Additionally, their control methods are highly flexible, allowing for adjustable lifting speeds and heights by modifying the motor's voltage or current.

4. Manual Drive

For smaller or lighter scissor lifts, a manual drive can be used. This system typically involves manually shaking a handle or pushing and pulling a lever to operate the scissor mechanism. While manual drives have limited lifting speed and height, they are simple in design and low in cost, making them ideal for temporary or low-frequency lifting needs.
